How to Play UNO No Mercy:

The rules are brutal. You can stack draw cards, meaning if someone plays a +4, you can play a +4 to make the next person draw 8! The 7 and 0 rules apply: playing a 7 lets you swap hands with another player, and playing a 0 makes everyone pass their hand to the next player. The game ends when one player gets rid of all their cards, or everyone else is eliminated by the Mercy Rule (25+ cards).

How to Play UNO No Mercy: Quick Cheat Sheet

Here is a lightning-fast cheat sheet covering every major uno no mercy rule so you can get back to the game!

1. The Mercy Rule (Elimination)

Count your cards! If you ever have 25 or more cards in your hand at any time, you are immediately eliminated from the game.

2. Stacking is 100% Legal

If someone plays a Draw card against you, you can pass the penalty to the next player by playing a Draw card of equal or higher value.

  • Example: Player A plays Draw 4. Player B plays Draw 6. Player C must draw 10!

3. Special Numbers: 7 and 0

  • Playing a 7: You MUST swap your entire hand with a player of your choice.
  • Playing a 0: All players MUST pass their entire hand to the next player in the current direction of play.

4. Drawing Cards

If it is your turn and you don't have a playable card, you don't just draw one card. You must keep drawing from the deck until you find a card you can play, and then play it immediately.

5. The Brutal Wild Cards

  • Wild Draw 6 & 10: The next player draws 6 or 10 cards and loses their turn.
  • Wild Color Roulette: The next player draws cards from the deck until they find the color you chose.
  • Skip Everyone: Skip all other players and immediately take another turn.
  • Reverse Draw 4: Reverses the direction of play, and the player who went before you must draw 4 cards!
